Great news for all foodies wanting to take their photography to the next level!
From Wednesday the 3rd of January and every Wednesday onwards I will be sharing a food photography tip or trick to get you in the right direction to instant social media and foodie fame!
It’ll be as simple as what you’re already doing: Grab your camera, get your plate of oysters or locally sourced organic pulled pork, stand on your chair and snap away!
Now, talking seriously; If only food photography was that easy, food photographers would be a long-gone species. There’s much more to making a good photograph and that’s the big difference you’re going to learn. From taking a foodie snap to actually making a good food photograph.
For starters, you’ll need to be passionate about your photography, passionate about the food you’re about to photograph, have a clear vision of what you want to portray that food and most importantly, be creative!
In the next 52 weeks, I’m going to share a variety of tips and tricks on how to make better food pictures be it for your Instagram feed, for your blog, for your reviews or simply to show your friends what you eat every day. The information I’m sharing with you covers everything from technical photography to developing a skillful eye and finding your inner voice as a photographer and hopefully this will help you reach your goals as a food photographer.
